The Northwest District is one of seven districts that make up the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA).  CJSA is affiliated with the US Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), which is affiliated with US Soccer (the US Soccer Federation), which is in turn affiliated with the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA).  Therefore, our district in Connecticut and all the clubs who register players with CJSA are all part of the great world soccer family and have agreed to abide by the same rules and principles set forth by the international body.

Our main purpose and objective is to promote and develop the sport of soccer to the youth of the State of Connecticut, Northwest District, as directed by the governors of CJSA, USYS and USSF.  Such promotion, under the direction of the directors and volunteers of the Northwest District shall be administered equally and equitably to all interested players regardless of sex, race, creed, color, religion, national origin or physical/functional deficiency.  The Northwest District is a not-for-profit organization proudly sidestepping politics and personal interests in its effort to put forth the best possible program for their youth athletes. 

The Northwest District also promotes good sportsmanship by players, coaches and spectators and expects the support of players and officials in a positive manner.  Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating comments or actions by or directed to coaches, spectators, players, officials, or others associated with a Northwest District club, will not be tolerated and are subject to disciplinary action.
